No-Hype Zone:Internet Marketing Strategies
I was reading a recent Marketing Sherpa article that referred to "RSS, Podcasting, online video, Web 2.0, you name it..." as "hype" and the "latest hot new tactic". Well there are internet marketing strategies incorporating this hype, and more, to drive HUGE income; that underground industry I call "the Fringe". But, as an ex-corporate marketing executive who is tired of the humdrum traditional online methods, I can tell you that Sherpa is very, very misguided. I predict within 2 years or less, these tools will ALL have "crossed the chasm" into the mainstream and those not using them will be considered "old school"! Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, StumpleUpon, FriendFeed, Tubeinator, Squidoo, TrafficGeyser and Weebly...these weird named tools are just for the young consumer crowd, right? Not us serious Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Consumer (B2C) marketers using serious internet marketing tactics. Sorry, not anymore. These tools are coming from the underground world of some of the world's most successful internet marketing entrepreneurs and seeping into our world. It's the beginning of Mass Control!!!!!..well, in a good way.. Don't worry. The secrets are about to be revealed and the "cultish" perpetrators exposed. Whether you are an independent business owner or a corporate marketing manager, I will guide you through this world of internet marketing strategies as I have walked it and experienced it. NO HYPE!
