Network Marketing Success: Part 2

I thought a while about having network marketing success as a goal.

I have a background in the software industry as well as personal interests that pushed me in a specific direction when deciding to get involved again in network marketing.

In addition, I thought that with my extensive Marketing background, I would be able to fill in any gaps that might exist in the network marketing company's marketing.

What surprised me was how little had changed in network marketing especially as far as the internet was concerned.

Network Marketing companies do understand that the internet is a valuable tool for their use. But fail when it comes to taking full advantage of leveraging it to benefit the "downline" by attracting new prospects/leads and sales from the expansive world of the web.

Having said that there are 2 new network marketing companies that have attracted my attention as a Marketing professional, not because of their leading edge Marketing which is not there, but for the uniqueness of their product and my assessment that their products have great potential to be industry leaders as network marketing businesses.

One is a nutritional "super food" supplement. One is in video email technology.

The health niche is strong and still growing. It still comes up at the top of any keyword research you do on finding a market niche.

Video is the new thing. Obama's campaign brought YouTube video to the masses and now video is everywhere. As I talk about in my strategies section on video, I do believe that video email will be the next evolution of video use and already companies, including network marketing companies, are starting up to offer it as a service. It will be as mainstream as YouTube video in the next 18 months. That is my 20 year marketing expertise talking!!

If you are thinking about network marketing, and you should in 2009, as a home business or income supplement, choose carefully and seriously.

And follow these successful actions:

1. Do not depend on the company's 'cookie cutter" site for leads, create your own content rich site. Their websites will not create network marketing success.

2. Create content that is relevant to the product you are representing, Don't sell the company, the network marketing opportunity or the product up front. Just create quality content having to do with the problem that is solved by the product. If you are representing a company that has a great dog flea product, then build a site about the issues having to do with fleas. Discuss all the various solutions and what has worked for you. Don't pitch the product, pitch you as the expert about this area, and yourself as someone to trust and have confidence in when it comes to fleas!!..hmmm, that would be interesting... a flea guru! Network Marketing success with fleas!!

3. Say this 5 times FAST: Create a Theme Based Content Site. Become an expert in my little niche...again, again, again...GOOD!

Thirty Day Challenge is what I like to solidify what I'm learning with SiteSell and have fun with a different approach to creating a site.

I have one final recommendation. One way to create your niche and position yourself as an expert to build a network marketing business, is to create a site with your own identity. Lynn Terry has done this with ClickZNews.com. Many others are out there doing it as a result of Blog platforms becoming much more flexible.

So SallyJones.com could be all about Sally Jones who has a passion for dogs and hates fleas. So, her site is all about her quest to kill every flea that touches her dog and communicate with like minds.

While doing this she becomes known as an expert on controlling fleas and as more and more people communicate on her site, contact her with questions or comments, she starts writing articles on specific flea killing alternatives that her public download. Overtime she has built a "Pipeline" of warm leads and can begin to stress one particular solution which is the product sold by the network marketing company she is involved with.

Don't pitch. Be patient. The internet WILL deliver and the results will be far more satisfying and long term then pitching your friends and family and people on the street you've never met! Network Marketing success will arrive.

Today I read Goldman Sachs estimates that a new global middle class isexpanding by 70 million people each year, and media magnateRupert Murdoch thinks that figure is probably an underestimate.

What that means, is that every year an awful lot of new people aregoing online looking for information and to buy products.
